THE SNOWKING/SNOWQUEEN ANNUAL Dear Fellow Owners: This has been a very busy year for the Killington Townhouses. We had a very long & harsh winter, which produced record breaking freezing temperatures and snowfall. This type of weather keeps the maintenance crew busy shoveling off roofs and getting rid of ice build up as to prevent any leaks inside the units. With not much of a spring season; clean up of the grounds and overall maintenance has been ongoing. The long summer days are a welcome sight! UNIT UPDATES: The King & Queen Decks We are currently remodeling the decks at both Snowking & Snowqueen.
There have been many positive changes to the Snowking/Snowqueen units this year. The living room furniture in the Snowking unit has been replaced.
The ovens and the microwaves have been replaced in both units with bisque colored GE appliances.
The microwaves are space savers installed over the ovens. This has created more counter space in the kitchens. Each kitchen now has all new appliances, which gives a much brighter and cleaner appearance. Both of these improvements were long overdue and a welcome sight. The queen size beds in the upstairs bedrooms of both units have been replaced with king size pillow top beds.
New lamps were purchased for the bedrooms and living rooms. Two VCRs were purchased for the dens in each unit, and two new 27” TVs were purchased for the living rooms.
Each unit now has a 27” TV and VCR in the living room and den. Many guests would switch the VCR to which ever TV they were watching. This would damage the connections on the VCR and TV and require repair. A new sink was purchased for the upstairs bathroom in SnowKing. The old sink was cracked and worn. One of the comments from an RCI guest said “wonderful mattress, comfortable bed, and furniture in a lovely country setting”. These types of comments can only increase our standing with RCI. Many owners and guests have given positive feedback on all the improvements. OFFICE UPDATE: Suzy Mazzarella is the Resort Manager. Kathy Perkins is our new Resort Administrator.
